Academic Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Minimum 210 ECTS Bachelor's degree
- Minimum German grade 2.5 or equivalent
Applicants with fewer than 210 ECTS may still receive admission by completing additional coursework assigned by the university.
English Language Requirement
Applicants must provide one of the following:

EU Applicants
- Application Period: 5 November – 15 January
The programme is only offered in the Summer Semester. There is no Winter intake.

Applications are submitted through the PRIMUSS Online Application Portal.
Steps
- Create a PRIMUSS account.
- Complete the online application.
- Upload all required documents.
- Submit the application before the deadline.
- Wait for the admission decision.
Applications by email or post are not accepted.
uni-assist Requirement
Applicants whose Bachelor's degree was obtained outside the EU, EEA or Switzerland must first obtain a VPD (Preliminary Review Documentation) from uni-assist.
Process
- Apply for a VPD through uni-assist.
- Wait for the evaluation.
- Receive the VPD.
- Apply through the PRIMUSS portal.
- Upload the VPD together with the application documents.
Applicants are strongly advised to submit their uni-assist application at least four weeks before Hof University's application deadline.
