Admission Requirements

Academic Qualification

Applicants must have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or an equivalent discipline
• Final grade of 2.5 ("Good") or better (German grading system)

Equivalency

The Examination Board evaluates whether an applicant's bachelor's degree is equivalent during the admission process.

Language Requirements

English

Applicants must provide one of the following:

• IELTS Academic: 6.5 or higher
• TOEFL iBT: 88 or higher
• Equivalent English language certificate

Note: English proficiency letters from universities are not accepted.

Minimum requirement:

• German Level A1

Additional Requirement

Applicants whose bachelor's degree was obtained outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) must submit:

• GRE or
• GATE

Applying Before Graduation

Students who have not yet completed their bachelor's degree may still apply if:

• They have earned at least 150 ECTS credits at the time of application.
• The final bachelor's degree certificate is submitted before the end of the second semester.

Conditional Admission

Conditional admission is available.

Applicants may be required to complete up to 15 additional ECTS credits, which must be successfully completed by the end of the second semester.
