Admission Requirements

Applicants must possess:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in:
Computer Science
or a programme with essentially equivalent Computer Science content
Degree from a university, university of applied sciences, dual university, or recognized international university.

Admission is based on a ranking system considering:

Bachelor's GPA
Credits in Theoretical Computer Science
Credits in Practical Computer Science
Credits in Computer Engineering
Credits in Mathematics

Approximately 100 study places are available each year.

Selection Procedure

Applicants are ranked using a maximum score of 190 points:

Applicants who do not fully satisfy the academic requirements may be invited to an English-language selection interview.

English Language Requirement

The programme is taught entirely in English.

Applicants must demonstrate sufficient English proficiency according to KIT admission regulations.

German Language Requirement

Not required for admission.

GRE Requirement

GRE is NOT required.

Tuition Fees

Students pay only the mandatory semester contribution.
