University of Potsdam – Consecutive Master's Degree Programs

Application Overview

Applicants to consecutive Master's degree programs must undergo a qualification assessment to verify that their academic background satisfies the admission requirements.

Applications are required for all consecutive Master's programs, regardless of whether they are admission-restricted.

Note: Some Master's programs are offered only in the Winter Semester or only in the Summer Semester. Applicants should verify the intake availability for their chosen program.

There are two application methods depending on the program.

1. PULS Portal (Direct Application)

Most Master's degree programs require applications through the University of Potsdam PULS Portal.

The following programs require applications via uni-assist:

All applicants must submit the following:

  1. Bachelor's degree certificate (or equivalent first university degree)
  2. Academic transcript showing completed modules and earned credits
  3. Recognition/equivalency certificate for foreign degrees (if applicable)
  4. Certified translations (if applicable)
  5. Proof of study content (module/course descriptions)
  6. Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  7. Placement decision from the Examination Board (if applicable)
  8. Proof of name change (if applicable)
